Let's Get Familiar

Okay, so I know all of you, but do you know each other? I think we have 3 from Colorado, 1 from Alaska, 1 from Oklahoma and many from Nebraska. Leave your name, where you are, and something interesting about yourself on a post. I have chapters 1-7 filled in with people but if any of you are interested in writing a snippet about the chapters, email me and I'll get you into the schedule!

I have to tell you this funny story. I asked my mom if she was going to join this blog and read So Long Insecurity, You've Been A Bad Friend and I left out To Us to be shorter because I was chatting on line with her. She wrote back, "why have I been a bad friend?". I couldn't help but laugh and tell her it was part of the title but if she thought that way then maybe she could read along with us...we both had a good laugh!

Have a great weekend!

Karla

P.S. I'm experimenting with the layout and background of the blog!

  16. Hi, I am Lisa, Kearney, NE.
My family moved here from Ft. Collins about 7 years ago. I am married, have a 17 yr. old daughter, 14 yr. old son, 6 yr. old poodle and 9 month old shitzu.

Something unique about me? I call myself a ditto-talker. I voice transcribe captions for the deaf and hard of hearing.

I started reading this book after my mom gave it to me for my birthday on May 7. Then I learned about this blog. The timing was perfect.

I do a little blogging too @ zippytidbits.blogspot.com if you want to visit.

  17. Hi, I'm Jean Kolbo from Kearney and the late comer to the group. But anyone who knows me well, knows that is normally how I come to anything.... late. =) I guess it comes with the territory of having 5 kids. At least, that's always been my excuse. I have finished chapter 5 of the book and have been catching up on your blog entries. But there is no way I can post comments yet. I want to catch up with you all. I am enjoying reading your thoughts and it gives me solace to learn I am not alone! Thanks for sharing.
